Daniel Cifuentes Alfaro, Cifuentes or Cifu (born 13 July1980 in Madrid), is a Spanishfootballer in the right back position. He is currently unattached.An unsuccessful graduate of Real Madrid's youth system, Cifuentes went on to debut professionally with Zamora CF, spending most of his early career in the third level.In 2005-06, he joined Real Sociedad, making his top flight debut on September 21, 2005, playing 90 minutes in a 3-2 home win over Atlético de Madrid.Never an important element for the Basque outfit, Cifu would be loaned, on January 2007, to second divisionerSD Ponferradina. He scored once for his new club, on April 1, in a 3-3 draw at UD Salamanca, who led 3-0 at the hour mark.
