con lei per la professionalita' e la p***ione con la quale realizza ogni suo film. i miei complimenti, vanno ad una persona che non fa' cinema, ma che lo e' in tutto e per tutto. il motivo per la quale la scrivo e' questo: - ho letto un libro bellissimo, non di recente edizione e si intitola "il comandante e gli squali" di doug stounton - il quale narra la drammatica avventura del piu' grande disastro della storia della marina americana dopo pearl harbour durante la seconda guerra mondiale. il disastro vede coinvolta la piu' grande corazzata da guerra affondata nel pacifico ad opera di un sottomarino giapponese; la nave uss indianapolis con circa 1300 persone di equipaggio di cui 900 finiti in mare...........................ma non voglio raccontarle la storia che fu', anche perche' credo che agli occhi attenti di un regista come lei, non sia sicuramente sfuggito tale episodio storico, anche perche' lei ne ha fatto menzione in uno dei piu' celebri capolavori di tutti i tempi "lo squalo". da allora ad oggi sono trascorsi molti anni, e i pochi superstiti di quel disastro si sono battuti fino al giorno d'oggi affinche'quel triste e tragico evento non venisse dimenticato. credo che lei di questo libro ne possa fare un gran capolavoro cinematografico, cosa ne pensa? credo che sia il giusto omaggio da concedere a queste persone che hanno dato la vita per gli usa e la giusta ricompenza per coloro che hanno fatto un pezzetto di storia. nel porgerle distinti saluti sarebbe fantastico sapere lei cosa ne pensa e se una cosa realizzabile, comunque gradirei avere una sua cordiale risposta al riguardo, ne sarei davvero felice. best regards alex - "lechter1977@libero.it" By: Alessandro on the September 1st, 2009

i have an highly unusal gift....i can identify

and visted the history of a village called eyam where the village got this deadly illness called the'plague or 'the black death' and they all come together and said"lets all risk our life and not leave this village to stop the illness getting to other villages"and out off 300 people only 80 survived. i think this is a heronine story and people should know about it and what a better way than in a film and made by a better person than you. The whole car over the edge of the cliff into the water was
ridiculous. And then to add insult to injury take a look at the very last scene in the movie. Shia is about to take a photo of his dad and mom and in rolls Harrisons hat. He bends down to pick it up and POOF, no camera in his hand, nor on the bench in the church. He just simply walks out without it, only to retrieve his comb and take a swoop at his hair. STUPID!!! The snake rope was just plain stupid and the fight scene
between the Russian and Harrison went on entirely too long. The Giant Ants infesting the bodies was a total rip off from the Mummy. Shame on you George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Harrison, although still able to charm an audience, seemed and looked tired as did his side kick Karen Allen, she lacked the wit she had in the original. And just when I thought it couldnt get any worse, it did when poor newcomer Shia had to learn to swing from the branches with moneys. Even my 14 year old thought it was Corny. To be continued... Sorely Disappointed,
I just rented this movie on DVD and feel
completely ripped off. I cant believe Harrison Ford actually agreed to do this movie with the cheesy script. For starters: Unreadable credits roll (looks like someone used CastellAr font I couldnt read a damn thing. Then the cheesy shot of the Gophers, not once but TWICE! I seriously thought I may have accidentally of rented Caddy Shack 2 by mistake. I love Cate Blanchett but I thought her Russian accent was over the top.
