One of the main blueprints for Jay-Z's success is staying several steps in front of the rest of the game. And on Sunday night, a song addressing just that idea — the latest record from his forthcoming Blueprint 3 LP — hit the Net. In the song, "Off That," featuring Drakeand produced by Timbaland. the trio look to the future.
"This is what tomorrow is," Jay declares as the first verse ends. "Welcome to tomorrow, bi---!"
"Whatever you about to discover, we off that," Drake testifies on the chorus. "You about to tell her you love her, we off that/ Always wanna fight in the club, we off that/ But you can't bring the future back/ Y'all steady chasing the fame, we off that/ Oversized clothes and chains, we off that/ N---as still making it rain, we off that/ 'Cause you can't bring the future back."
"Please tell Bill O'Reilly to fall back," Hov raps near the top of the second verse. "Tell Rush Limbaugh to get off my b---s, it's 2010, not 1864/ We come so far ... How's that for a mix?/ Got a black president, got green presidents/ Blueprint's in my white iPod, black diamonds in my Jesus piece, my God."
Timbo keeps the beat fast paced on a European-techno hip-hop vibe. Last year, Timbaland told MTV News of the grand plans he had for Jay's album.
"We wanna go to the world," he divulged last July. "The world is 'Big Pimpin'.' 'Big Pimpin' ' is an international hit, so we wanna do 10 of those — meaning, some of the songs gonna sound like M.I.A. would rap on some of the beats. You gonna be like, 'Whoa!' But it's Jay on 'em. That means it reaches everywhere. I'mma have songs with bagpipes. The music is gonna be so worldwide, he'll be able to tour the rest of his life, maybe, off just this one album. The Jay-Z album is gonna be phenomenal. You know why? We don't care. We're doing great music just to do it. We doing it for our fans who love us to say we ain't quit. I'm doing it 'cause that's my homeboy."
On the LP, Tim shares production work with the likes of Swizz Beatz, No I.D., the Neptunes and, of course, Kanye West, who helmed the majority of the opus.
Jay is expected to announce a September 11 concert at New York's Madison Square Garden to celebrate his album's release. He will also perform at MTV's Video Music Awards on September 13.

Prabhudeva, who is currently directing Salman Khan starrer "Wanted: Dead or Alive", a Hindi remake of his Tamil blockbuster "Pokkiri", is said to be dating Nayanthara. And he plans to launch her in Hindi films with his next directorial venture, said sources.

On July 08, 2009 | | Chennai July 7 (IANS) "Ghajini" fame actress Asin Thottumkal has turned down animal welfare group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) request to promote vegetarianism. She said she is a hardcore non-vegetarian and, therefore, it would be unfair to accept the offer.
"After I entered the film industry, I restricted my non-veg diet to fish and chicken. I can't, however, remain without non-veg food even for a single day. Therefore, it won't be proper for me to involve myself in the campaign against non-vegetarian food," said Asin.
