Laurie Heather Holden (born December 17, 1969) is an American/Canadianactress. She is noted for the recurring role of Marita Covarrubias on The X-Files, co-starring with Jim Carrey in the film The Majestic, playing the police officer Cybil Bennet in the Silent Hill movie, and Amanda Dunfrey in The Mist.Holden was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of actors Larry Holden and Adrienne Ellis.[1] Holden was raised in Canada and spent her freshman year at McGill University, then transferring to UCLA to do a BA in theater arts.
